Info question??

Hey guys,

My team and I are thinking about entering the USPL next year.
A quick question, so I can start to budget this...

How much paint did your team shoot on average?
preferably the # of cases, not exact rounds..

Thanks guys.

7 man or 5 man?

We made top 10 in a few tournaments in 2008 that we played in 7 man, and never shot more than 18 cases.

You are only looking at maximum 20 games. Even if they take 16 to Sunday, and you go to the full 3 every match on Sunday.

Yea, we can't decide between D3 7man or 5man, so I want to get detailed knowledge about what to expect before we commit.

a pod carries what 140 (or so) x (pods per player) plus hopper x (7 or 5 man-depending on division) x 8 pre-lim games, plus best two out of three in elite eight, quarters, semis, and finals---you could end up playing 17 games total. you should plan on 40-45 cases (that is depending on division and ability to shoot that fast). This estimate is for a D2 team and will vary by ranking, but, the best thing to do is expect the most and if you dont shoot that much(and have a paint sponsor-more paint for practice). But, dont sell yourself short. Goodluck

Devotion Played d3 5-man at the DC Challenge.. we played all the way to the finals taking 1st. We shot roughly 25 cases. Mind you in semi-finals and in finals matches are best 2 of 3 and we won 2 straight both rounds, so there was still a possible chance of playing 2 more games then what we did.. We took 30 cases of paint and i felt that was a good amount.
