Reffing was A+++++

Best refs I have ever seen They deserve many thanks for their hard work

I heard the webcast had many problems but that is what it is.

Hahahah, what? Those refs were horrible. Also, great idea putting the event in a fenced in area, im sure that greeted random passer-by-ers very well.

It was nice having the event right on the strip, but good Lord, they could've moved the actual location a little closer to the hotel since there was all that empty space in the parking lot. And people that were just walking by randomly still could've seen the event/tents so they would've been able to make their way over in that direction if they took interest.

They could see, but unless they hopped the fence (which security *****ed at us for), they would have to walk much much further to get in. Besides, it wasnt really on the side that many pedestrians strolled by.

Venue/Location: How was it? The Venue and location was amazing...I loved playing on a National stage with the Vegas strip in the background...yes, it could have been closer to the hotel, but come on...it was fine

Vendors: How many any good deals? Vendors were great...Ninja was giving away a tank, the Kingman Pistols let you play pistol paintball for free whenever you wanted, and CP had great deals on clothing.

Reffing: Good-Bad what did you think? I personally had no problems with the reffing...I thought they did a great job..I did however see a few blown calls in the finals for d3 5 man and I heard there were other bad calls, but come on guys..they are human...just look at the MLB playoffs this past week, reffs make bad calls, it happens

Attendance: Teams Spectators Grand Stands. Great attendence from teams and spectators, I just wish they did not charge for grandstands, that way they could have been filled all days of the event, and everyone could watch pro games

Web cast: Quality Announcing? While I did not get to watch much because I was playing, I did watch it on Saturday and it looked real good. I just wish they showed all the games up until the end like promised...(they stopped showing the 5 man games after about 2-3 games)

Schedule: ? No problems here

Overall, I have been to 3 National events now, and this was by far the best. The location was great, everyone played real well, and the paint was great as well..no complaints from me on the event itself

Venue/Location: Vegas was cool, but the location of the actual playing field was way to out there for all the room there was. It was more located on that back street than the strip

Vendors: Not too many vendors but deals were alright

Reffing: Same as always. Good calls and bad calls

Attendance: Good team attendance but the spectator attendance was kind of weak

Schedule: Schedule was ran good and games were on time

They really should of invested in a damn whistle or horn to start each game. Not once was I able to see the ref starting the game and a couple times I was a second late getting my gun up off break cuz i couldn't hear him say go. I know others were having the same problem too

Good event but IMO did not live up to its hype for being "world championship"

I had an amazing time and thought it was a spectacular event.

The schedules ran very smoothly and usually a little ahead. The layout is one of my favorite I've ever played on.

The reffing was good overall. They were a little quick to call penalties, but were consistent so I don't have a huge problem with it. I do think if they did a better job of cleaning the field between games it could have eliminated some questions about rub or paint from balls on the turf.

It would have been nice to have entrances at both ends, but I was walking from the Sahara.

i dont think they should have charged all three days for the stands, sunday i can see, but i thought part of the reason the event was held here was to bring in new people to the sport....and people who have never seen paintball arnt going to pay money to watch it. heck i play and didnt want to pay to watch.

Neo and NPPL Buffalo

Your probably just pissed off because your team got screwed from reffing, it's no reason to be pissed about the whole event, from what I have seen...people enjoyed it

The two events you went to before this were horrible logistically.

NPPL Buffalo was an embarrassment.

from a photographer's perspective:

Venue/Location: How was it?: You can't get much better than Vegas. One of my favorite things about NPPL is choice locations, making it that much more of an excuse to invite friends and family to get them involved in paintball.

Vendors: How many any good deals?: short supply of vendors, but they were all quality - I got some great deals on flex parts and shorts that I forgot to bring and needed to shoot the event. Thanks to CC Paintball

Reffing: Good-Bad what did you think?: Reffing was great - the fact that no one has made a thread complaining of the reffing at a national event is unprecidented. sure UpDawg may complain... but I've never seen a single postive thing he's ever posted about anything.

Attendance: Teams – Spectators – Grand Stands: All the teams I cared about on Center court - what else do you want.
Spectators? 80-100 in the stands daily.. not as big as some, but scheduling had a lot to with that I think.

Web cast: Quality – Announcing?: Didn't see it - but didn't hear anything good about it from friends stuck at home. All the more reason to take the extra drive to an actual event and show your support by paying $5 for grandstand tickets instead of complaining about a free webcast

Schedule?: Games were ahead of schedule - seamed to run smooth - plenty of space between games as well.. nothing rushed.

Let's hear it?: you heard it

Ignore UpDawg's pessimistic attittude and comments

Vendors: Decent amount concerning the low team turnout

Reffing: Terrible.

Attendance: Tiny compared to PSP, but almost preferred that because it was more chill like a small local tournament.

Web cast: Overall good, heard the teams name called incorrectly a million times though

Schedule: Went ahead of schedule, hated the 7am starts though.
