Red face Webcast

I hurried home from Vegas hoping to watch the finals on webcast but, fell asleep waiting...and waiting...and waiting for it. I hope they put a bunch of videos on youtube.

Yes it did work fine until just after all of the 7man finals!

Then some jack**s decided it would be funny to yank out one of our cables from our secure access box near the Riviera hotel......pretty frustrating. We had to broadcast on a secondary connection which proved to be quite slow.

We did however preserve all of the footage from 3 cameras in full HD for all of the games after the 7man.

Our apologies to all of those teams fans watching.

Must not have been a very secure access box

Just foolin', webcast worked great for me when I watched this weekend for the most part. Thanks!

That's really cool. Did you guys record the whole thing, or just those games?

I enjoyed the webcast a lot.

Brief constructive criticism-

Multiple viewing angles at the same time was great.

The information being provided on who was playing, both at the top of the screen and by Danny Miller could use some improving. Other than that, I thought it was great. You can always improve on # of cameras and camera angles, but I think the #1 thing would be to find a way to feed Danny (or whoever the next commentator is) more/better information. For the best of 3, it'd be nice to display the score like PSP does, too.

Thank you very much and I look forward to seeing how this improves in 2010, because I'm sure it will.

It wasn't a locked safe, but it was a locked box. Thanks for watching...and glad you enjoyed it!

We totally agree with your all of your input! Getting Danny info proved to tougher than we anticipated.

We do realize (contrary to some of the previous posts in this thread) that the PSP does put a great deal of money and time into there awesome webcast.....and that obviously to anyone who has watched both....there is a diffrence. No one is trying to copy or compete with it......but it is certainly an achievable benchmark!

We had some extra cameras, but technical issues prevented us from putting them live.

The USPL/NPPL pro owners has been very supportive of trying to establish a great webcast. Look for great improvments in 2010!

Thanks for the input, and we will certainly implementing some of the above at HB in April.
