Conversion kit for DM's
Do you think dye will have .50 cal conversion kits for the dm7, dm8, dm9, 10 and the NT just like what planet eclipse is doing?

Converting a spool valve gun is MUCH more difficult than converting a poppet gun. Especially on a DM. With a single tube spool like the Droid/Clone, it means replacing the entire drivetrain.
Frankly I'm not sure even that would work in a DM.

It has already been done on other spool markers, in fact several of the GI Milsims guns are just that...
The micro50 for example is a vibe (with some cosmetic changes) with a 50 caliber drive train, Everything is just scaled down.
I'd bet good money that Dye could easily release a new drivetrain for the DM series guns...

Like i had said before, it shouldn't be IMPOSSIBLE.
I had thought they would probably do a thicker acrylic self cleaning eye tube. and then just an aluminum feedneck insert or maybe just a "new" thicker feedneck.
The fuse bolt would be more..."difficult". You could get away with just making a fuse bolt with a smaller ID or OD (depending on how you look at it). But that would increase the DM's weight singnificantly. Also, you would have to make a different drive train for every single DM that way made (i think. If not then just about)
OR
You could just make just a bolt and can for every single gun out there, which would be a bit cheaper.
A conversion kit of DM's would be at least $100...and unfortunately i don't they they will make a conversion for the DM6 because it lacks the pre existing milling for the eye pipe

I don't know that it would be cost effective, but in theory they cold make a body w/ drive train then you could attach everything. (reg, frame, noid) But that wouldn't work for people that switched back and forth, and it would be expensive.

for all spool valve markers, it is a matter of a new drivetrain, as they are called these days. the price is inherently more, although if i could buy a bolt now for any of my spoolvalve markers that would essentially double the efficiency, i would be ok with it...

you don't necessarily need a whole new drivetrain.
All you would need for the DM would be a new bolt that had a thinner front portion, and a can that had a smaller ID in the from portion of it.

Maybe some other 3rd party companies will make a new bolt for the .50.
