You will need a USPL ID card to play in next weeks event. They can still be purchased online until this Thursday. Make sure you upload a photo and pay your ID fee before Thursday is over, that way the ID will be ready for you at the event.
There was some confusion this year regarding who accepts whose IDs because of an agreement made between the SoCal leagues. A handful of SoCal local leagues agreed to accept each others IDs, as long as they were using the APPA system, to help keep the cost down for players this year.
This only applies to the SoCal leagues involved and you will still have to purchase an ID for each league you play.

Hey there, Steve.
All players must have a 2009 US Paintball League ID Card which can be purchased at www.uspaintballleague.com/registration. Purchase your ID Cards by tomorrow and save $10 (Cards will be $50 after Thursday). Staff members ("Pit Crew") do not need ID Cards, but will need to be added to the Staff portion of your roster.
