there are only two exeptions, bigger paint fly's farther because it maintains its inertial force longer than smaller paint (to a certain extent), and apex/flatline barrels make paint fly farther by imparting spin on the ball.
290 fps on .679 bore paint will not fly as far as 290 fps on .690 bore paint since the .690 will have more inertia to go on once it leaves the barrel.
I am a big nit picker when people say one marker is more accurate than another, or one marker shoots farther than another
