Who agrees?

If cheap guns like tippy 98 or spyder sonix status release in large numbers are released in 50 cal versions. If that happend id be more than willing to buy one of those and test the waters. Then maybe move up to more high end models like with 68 cal. Cause i doubt that 70% of paintballers started with the EGOS and DMs they own now. so if i could get a conversion kit for my loaders, id be more than willing to go and buy a 50 caliber intry level gun

totally agree, I dislike how so many people are hating on something they haven't tried. Maybe it'll totally blow, or it will be absolutely awesome, or it'll be just natural evolution of the sport and be neutral.

That's way different. I get what you're trying to say, but that analogy can't even compared to 50 cal to 68 cal.

There's a lot of reasons why people are against it. One of the main reasons is because they believe it will take over paintball and make 68 cal obsolete. That would mean many things -- such as having to either purchase a new setup or buy adapters for their existing setups. Not only that, if 50 cal were to replace 68, that would mean it would also be used in tournaments. The splat on 50 cal paintballs is relatively small. That would make cheating a lot easier.

But I don't believe 50 cal will take over. I'm not against it. But if it gets to the point where 50 cal starts replacing 68 cal and more companies are focusing more on 50 cal, then we have a huge problem.

In order for the new 50 cal to even get a foothold in the industry, popular starter brands will need to embrace the new format.

I hope it becomes huge. I like the efficiency, size, range, and accuracy of the .50

But thats the point...... NOBODY has tried it.

How is there so much info about it on the web but absolutely no proof of the paint even existing. Other then blow gun junk.

yeah im with you if people would actually read then they would understand what we mean. i want 50 to come out. im not gonna drop anything over 150 for a gun though but im happy with my 68 setup now. 50 will make the spor more accessible to nowhere walmart status players i believe
