if you playing front and need to drill i deff recomend practicing superman slide...went out to play...we get to the box..the ref goes 10 seconds..and just then the captain turns to me and says..oh yeah..ur playin snake..epic fail without superman slide..lol
If you're working on strength I would do push-ups, and squats, and pull-ups if you can. Try and increase the amount of reps over time. For stamina just run.
We did these things for soccer called an x-drill. You sprint from one corner to the opposite corner, \, long-ways, side step to the other corner, _, backpedal to the opposite corner, /, long-ways, then do a cool down jog and repeat the process for about 20 mins. This drill kills but I guarantee that if you do this often you will be running like a Kenyan. Also suicides, anything with sprints. Make sure you stretch before and excercise. You should stretch your hamstring before squats or sprints or you risk severe injury. Trust me on this one.
