Brief 1st Review of the Dye NT Paintball Gun

All I can say is that NT10's that showed up at our field 3 of them were all having problems as far as firing now, I am not downing Dye what so ever but with that said I think they need to get the bugs out all the NT10's that were out this weekend all them went back to the 2nd gun because of gun problems spuddering while firing, bolt had issues getting stuck through that front "o" ring, chopping good reasonable paint........ I think waiting for the 2nd batch or maybe Jan-Feb by then the bugs will be out ! One of the guys even said "he'd rather shot his DM9 becuase of all the problems he had, and that he seriously thinkin about selling his NT10" to each there own but thats what I got from the ones that were at the field.........

the manager from the OA store in Baltimore had one out at the field today.....shot great....didnt see any problems at all.....

does it have an LPR or any way to adjust the noid pressure like a dM?

If the guns are sputtering i would take a look at air supply. Sputtering, bolt stick and breaking paint are all symptoms of restricted air supply for the NT. We found out that some air tanks are cutting off the air supply through the airport when screwed all the way in. try backing the tank off about 1/8th turn. DYE is working on fixing this problem right now so that all tanks work with it.

Shaving down the pin depressor a bit should fix this problem for most people.

I love mine. I had a problem when I first tried to shoot it but, it ended up being the tank reg. I swapped tanks and problem solved. The gun shoots great.

Billy, one of the things we noticed was inside the spool valve assembly it was ribbed ( looks like threading ). I cannot imagine that being intentional or is that part of the new NT ? We were concerned it was a machining issue and thus not allowing smooth movement of the spool/bolt assembly.
