is the back insert same as snake corner?

Is the back insert position the same thing as snake corner? if not, what are the main differences?

back insert? Never heard of that specifically. Snake corner is pretty clear.

Normally 'insert' means the bunker you use to get to that bunker. snake insert = a bunker used to stop at before you get into the snake. Dorito insert would mean a bunker you used to get to D1 or D2. Back insert doesn't make sense as you don't need to insert to get to back bunkers, you take them off the break.

Snake corner is clear on all fields unless there IS no bunker behind the snake. All 'insert' bunkers depend on the field you''re playing on.

I never heard that either, but if it was used in reference to Xball, they probably meant the back center, because he's the one that has to fill the corners if one goes down.

In 7 man, and before that 10 man, an insert was basically a mid, especially if their job was to immediately fill a front spot if the person there died.
