Ok I’m new to the rainmaker and need to pick your brains

the stock reg has been gutted ok my question is I have two HPRs I can use one is a bottom line HPR the other is an in line do I really need both or can I get away with using the bottom line HPR and how would this affect velocity I know that I can adjust it with a HPR reg but how well does that work?

you only need one, but many Rainmaker users prefer 2 for reliability. Once the RM is setup, adjusting it with the HPR is the normal method to fine-tune velocity

I would go with gutting and capping the read reg entirely. This coupled with a reliable HP reg mounted via AutoMag vert adapter would create a very consistent marker, especially at high ROF. Most users also cap the stock LPR as well and throw either a stock cocker LPR or a palmers.

cool thanks guys it has a vert mount and i'll porb go with that and i'm thinking of putting a cocker lpr on it too any more help mods or whatever would help pics to come soon

so how do i go with capping the stock reg.

Using the stock housing, you will need to use teflon tape on the back screw that you used to adjust the velocity. You will need to tap the vent hole on the side of the cylinder for a setscrew as well.

I would add some spacers to shorten up the trigger pull a tad bit. A Delrin bolt used to be a must, but I haven't seen any of those F/S.

Have you replaced the barrel yet? I highly recommend Lapco barrels. They are kind of loud, but great quality and customer service.

have a lapco barrel from one of my cockers any a python kit. that works really well
