Added the Geo ST kit, and tuned my Geo for smoothness:

285fps +/-5
VVC all the way out
Dwell at 12.5ms (stock)
7 pods from a 45/45

Shoots amazing!

How many cases did you run through your geo before you backed the VVC all the way out?

I bought the gun used (sub-1000 SN), and had it tuned for efficiency (VVC all in, dwell at 8ms) for about a month. Probably shot close to 10 cases through it. Then I changed to this tuning. For the videos, I shot 2 pods and used 1,000 psi from a 45/45 tank, that is how I estimated the 7 pods from the original post.

At practice it seemed to be a bit lower than that so I've retuned to VVC all in and dwell at 10ms. Any lower dwell and the velocity is not stable. VVC position seems to have little effect on feel, so I am running it all in to get as many shots as possible.

Sometime I have extra paint I will try to do a better test. For that estimate I just shot 2 pods and observed my tank go from 2k to 1k. Do the math and that's 7 pods from a 45/45. Go the next step and that's 1500 rounds from a 68/45, which is what the gun is supposed to do!

I believe it, I have a gr2 geo, stock settings and I can almost get 6 pods out of a 45/45.

That's pretty good for stock settings. A quick tune could probably get you a pod more.

I live in the Fridley area but normally play at APPG in the summer and AA in the winter. I rarely get out to Northside.
