oh my. here we go again.

so i was pondering (and that is scary) and i was wondering what everyone runs through their DMs for paint. i put toxic through it but that paint sucked and i had a couple breaks. without going to spend a fortune, and i wont take any advice differently, i just want to know what everyone uses and says to use.

try rps premium locally i costs 45 a case but for the price it is the best paint as far as quality/price ratio. if you can get the silver/green shell with green fill or pink/red shell with pink fill. the shell will almost always break from waist high and the fill is very thick

I shoot the best possible paint i can get my hands on (yes i have shot ultra evil and procaps Gold in practice)... sounds odd for practice but the money really doesnt matter to me.... I perfer practice to be as close to game conditions as possible.

I shoot black pearls...sometimes white if I'm being cheap.

Seriously, I don't break paint, so it doesn't matter to me.

man nelson isnt bad but real hard shells.

Stingers- decent
Evil - good and thick but hard shells and bouncy at times
Heat- not bad
JT surge- best white box i have ever shot always breaks
XO spectrum- might as well be monster balls
stryker= rocks that stain and don't break unless against a tree
Visible Impact- best walmart paint

I'm actually having the same problem as you with my dm6, i've cleaned the eyes, checked the detents, etc. when i shoot forumla 13, no problems, when i shoot any cheaper paint, its more like a blender.

This could be something completely different...but i was having some very similar symptoms. It turned out to be my battery and some dirty eyes. Not sure which exactly (probably the battery) but it was a pita when it acted up during my first 5 man tourney.

As for paint, I've owned a shop that sells paintball supplies for a while now so I've had the opportunity to try a lot of different kinds of paint. Just recently I got in some Vein V1's.
This paint should only run you around $40 a case and it shoots like 50-60$ paint. One of my favorite things about it is the bore match is very small, something around .684, like most high end paint. They always seem to break, the fill is not messy but also very very thick.

Absolutely no downsides that i can find. The price is beyond perfect for the quality of the paint.

For practice I use Draxxus Basic Training. Never really had much of a problem with it. Its a good price for practice.

For tournaments I use Draxxus Silver or Gold. Both are awesome. Nothing more can be said.

I found that Draxxus paint in general shoots very well out of my DM9.
