Re: Attention all SL94 Owners; how to claim your free Z2 Rammer and Plank upgrades!
*** PLEASE READ THE ENTIRE FIRST POST BEFORE ASKING QUESTIONS THAT ARE ALREADY ANSWERED IN IT  ***
All SL94 Owners who have registered their marker either by completing and returning the Warranty card provided in the manual, or by completing and submitting the online Warranty registration form here: https://www.planeteclipse.com/warranty will AUTOMATICALLY be sent out the Zick Z2 Rammer and the Ego9/SL94 Solenoid "Plank Kit" upgrades, COMPLETELY FREE OF CHARGE, as soon as they become available.
The Zick Z2 Rammer is EXACTLY the same Rammer that is included in the Zick2 Kit.
The Solenoid "Plank Kit" is the drop in solution that will replace the Solenoid "Turrets" that we have actively been testing, and as such can be installed into the solenoid assembly in a matter of seconds and fitted to the marker without the need to modify the body at all.
IMPORTANT NOTES:
- This upgrade is ONLY valid for customers who have purchased the SL94 and consequently registered their purchased product for warranty purposes.
- No upgrades will be sent out to Stores that have SL94's in stock, as the marker must be deemed "sold" and consequently registered for warranty before an upgrade kit can be assigned to it.
- No upgrades will be available at any events, as they will all be mailed out from our UK office.
- If you would like to check on the warranty status of your SL94 marker then please email me on: nick.t@planeteclipse.com making sure to include your FULL name and address as well as the serial number and colour of your SL94.
- Upgrade Kits are expected to start shipping no later than the week beginning 28 September 2009.

The new style Zick2 rammer is only for the SL94 owners -true enough - but as bigjohn stated, the "Plank" upgrade will be for Ego9 owners also. |

Nicky, i have a question about the turrets and Plank Kit.
My Ego9 has the turrets installed from factory, I know that PE never planned on selling the turrets because it's a difficult process to install and may damage the marker.
I would like to know were this puts me with this Plank Kit...can I put a Plank Kit in, do i need to remove my turrets...if so will I benefit from it.
Most importantly since I plan on using my Ego9 for a long time should one of (or both) my turrets fail, were does that put me. You said there hard to install yourself, and if I was to be able to send my gun in, how long would PE have turrets in stock.
Im just concerned that my marker might be forgotten about considering there was such a little amount of time they were being made with the turrets.

The plank kit is just a drop in turret kit. If you already have turrets, you dont need the plank. I dont think Eclipse would modify as many Ego9s and SL94s (guns have been shipping with them installed from the factory for about 10 weeks or so I believe) and not cover them under warranty. You shouldnt have anything to worry about.

Good question
The turrets and the planks in essence do the same job. If you already have the turrets installed in your marker then so long as you have registered your maker for warranty purposes, you will be sent out the Plank Kit (in due course).
Removing the turrets is very simple; you take the solenoid assemly off the body and pull the turrets out, meaning that you can install the Plank Kit into your solenoid assembly with ease.
You will not be left in the lurch, so long as your marker has been registered for warranty - getting the re-occuring theme yet guys?
