Invert Mini Battery

Hi everyone I was wondering what types of 9 volt batteries are compatible with the Invert Mini? I have heard that it is not good to use a 9v6 battery is this true? If so why? Thanks for your time.

Just about any name brand battery will work fine; Duracell, Energizer, Rayovac. The mini board does not really like rechargeable batteries because they do not seem to supply the right amount of voltage, causing solenoid problems as well as firing mode problems.

Just use the normal name brand batteries like stated above, but just don't use the Spyder rechargeables...

I honestly have not heard of anyone using them, so I have not heard of any problems from them. You however will not receive any performance boost from them. Your best bet would be to use a normal 9 volt.

Speaking of batteries, has anyone heard anything bad about using lithium batteries in your hopper? I know they are a wee bit lighter than regulars...

I have not heard of anything negative concerning lithium batteries.

I use lithium batts in my hopper, they are lighter, but only when you hold them in your hand. Once you put them in the hopper, then on the gun, then fill with paint, you can hardly tell any difference. The do last a hell of a long time though, even in my Vlocity.

That is interesting to hear about rechargables in the Mini though. Non-rechargables get freaking expensive after a while.... Is it that the voltage drops off too quickly in rechargables?

Hi everyone I have an invert mini and the light is blinking red and I changer the battery to a new one and now it doesn't turn nothing at all. I was wondering what it would be the problem.
