I can feel a slight puff of air when I fire the gun, as if it comes down from the body into the grip frame.

I only feel it with the grips OFF.

I have a QEV, is it just that venting?

It's only when firing, no constant leak.

Totally normal.

It's the exhaust of the QEV.

Also some air might come out from the bottom of the solenoid but that is just where the air would normally exit if you didn't have a QEV and sometimes the QEV doesn't let all of the air out but its perfectly normal.
