Quit over pressurizing the gun... I would not be surprised if the noid is trashed at 400 psi.

what lube are you using?

and to the OP.

Did you lube the noid? To me FSDO on a fusion means air is leaking out somewhere... did you check the hex bolts for leaks? There is one by the front LPR, two by the back cap, one or two under the main body, hidden by the grip frame.

Take some soap water and get the suds only. Put the suds on these one at a time and watch for bubbles. You are probably losing air somewhere.

Thats what I have found when a fusion has FSDO personally. Once you start a string the slow leak does not cause a drop off because it basically doesnt have time to effect things too much.

Once you get that nailed down you will probably see less variance over the chrono as well.

pb1bg,

Man you are really throwing me off.

As far as I can tell you are not the OP (original poster) of this thread. So when I respond to either of you I try to address accordingly.

What spool are you putting o rings on? The F8 does not have a spool to my knowledge. Are you talking the poppet, the noid valve?

If you cant get it to velocity then its a ball barrel match issue, bad Chrono, messed up reg, or leaky gun, etc. I am really thinking its that bolt... its possibly dragging and causing an issue. Pull the pin and see if it will fall out of the gun.

Are your ball detents compressing all the way into the gun? Did anyone by chance superglue the detents springs to the eye covers? I saw this personally on another gun, and it caused bolt drag on a non stock bolt as the detent was not compressing all the way, and dragging against the bolt. The stock bolt has detent cutouts, but the aftermarket bolts do not.

I am really thinking its your bolt... its not a low blo in upside down is it?

Go to stock bolt (find one, buy one, borrow one) and check the eye springs. Also be 1000% sure you are not getting a small leak out of the hex head screws.

no i am not the original poster of this thread i am just having the same problems as him and since no one answered my thread i posted in his
i am put new orings on the spool in the noid or as you know it the noid valve
a ball to barrel match issue isn't the problem neither is the reg and the gun isn't leaking. the chrono could be bad but i doubt it because the balls may fly only about 50 ft.
i'll check the bolt and see if its draggin i lubed it up as best as i could before and i'll take the detents out and see if that helps.

Does the ACP bolt need lube? I thought it was an oringless Delrin as well...

If so it doesnt need lube, i am sure you know that, just saying. If you do lube it can only take triflow without swelling.

Let us know on the bolt I bet thats the cause here. pill the pi up and out of the ram, but leave it in the bolt... see how easily the bolt slides back and forth..

My friends was rubbing pretty good.

That lo blo (acp made two types) had to go in a certain way as well. I never really played with it, so I dont know if there is a single inlet or if its the open/universal design of the original.

Oh I thought you said you had the ACP bolt... I may be backwards...

Either way check for swelling.

I am really curious as to what this is... you seem to work on a lot of markers so the easy stuff has been ironed out most likely.

Not with the stock board. They do easily hit 25 bps without drop off on the 5-6 I have used personally though.

I would call DP customer service if that bolt is smooth as silk, and those detents arent hanging up.

Unfortunately, this one has me stumped also Snake.

He's changed the orings, so all the seals should be good.
No air leak, so he's not loosing pressure.
Rebuilt the HPR and LPR, so he should have good flow.
Tried several batteries, so it's not a power problem.
If everything is sliding smoothly, it's not getting hung up.
It is cycling, but can't get the FPS.
With as many times as he's taken it apart and put it back together, it's not assembled incorrectly.

IMO Sending it in would be your best bet. At least then we can try swapping things out to see what might be causing the problem. Sounds like everything I could think of he's already tried.

I think it'll have to be gone through by one of our techs at this point. It's hard to say without seeing it.

Give us a call and speak to one of our techs. If you decide to sent it in, we'll be able to set you up with the info you'll need to send it in.

The last things I can think of are either your valve might be rotated slightly.. or electrical problem with the noid or board.
