Alright so I have a V1 mini, I think and it has the 1.1 Optimus bored in it, and I was wondering if anyone could clear this up for me? But i decided to keep it over a ego7 simply because its so bad *** haha. What I am wondering is what barrels do you guys shoot? I tryed to use my friends CP that fits cockers but it didnt work? I want a stifi but i dont no what one to order. Any help would be great thanks!

I have honestly had the best luck with the stock barrel. As far as the board in your marker, it says what version it is on the board itself on the side where the battery sits.

no the one 1.1 optimus is the type of board

I thought you were unsure as to what board you had. Yes Optimus 1.1 means that is the first board issued with the Mini. It was known to be subject to battery life issues, but not all the boards had this issue.

I think this really belongs in the barrel forum as they have much more information about barrels than here in the mini forum. I realize you're pairing your mini to a different barrel, but basically, once you start looking for a different barrel, it doesn't do anything to the performance of the marker. Though the wrong barrel will affect accuracy. But that's on the barrel, not the gun.

I have seen autococker-threads that seemed like they did not fit. They seemed loose. A piece of teflon tape will also fix that, although when you spend money on a barrel they should fit.

I use the freak kit on my mini. Freak back with freak front 14". Shoots straight every time. I use the silver insert (.691?) idk it just works the best with the paint i use. I suggest if you're gonna get the kit, get the whole kit so you can pick the right insert for the type of paint you use.

I agree with crosnberger15...I have two kits for mine one deathstix and one freak...i personally love the freak kits i think its shoots better for me anyways and it looks badass...but thats my opinion

definately cant go wrong with a freak kit....although i prefer the all american front
