So glad no one has mentioned Smith and Wollenskys. So so overrated, atleast around here. Ruth's Chris is my favorite. As far as local to my area, probably Mitchels.

I try not to eat steak when I go out, everyone uses too much salt or pepper.
Texas De Brazil has some great steak, but its exspensive and I eat too much.
Recently had the 40 oz Poterhouse at Ruth Chris', it was good, but I REALLY do not like the butter they serve for your steak.
Outback is Outback, meh.
I'll do a Friday's New Your Strip with Burgundy sauce when I'm there, its on par with Outback.
Personally, I prefer steaks where I cook them myself. I have a recipe that involves various steps and herbs, its awesome. Occasionally I'll throw in some beer for flavor.

"The Steakhouse" in Wells, Maine.

I really want to go to lugers but i cant see driving 4-5 hours for a steak.
When i went to Disney about 2 or 3 years ago we ate at Shula's steak house. It is the best i have ever gone to.

Thanks for the tips for Hotlanta. Someone needs to make a thread with 'must try' food locations for each city. It would be sticky worthy for sure.
