Referee Question!!

yeah well
ive been a referee before (like three years ago) but i was just a referee that did rec ball
im getting a job at a local paintball field and i wanted to know
what are some of the things i should know before I start refing?
what are the calls that you can make?
and i always wanted to know what would happen if someone did a run through and shot someone in the snake, but got hit in the process but then kept on going for another kill down the field..
please guys need some help quick

I thought you said you had reffed before?

Depends what the fields rules are. They can go by whatever they want. Ask the field. That player that got shot in snake could be out still, or you could have to wipe the hit. The player running down the tape could have a penalty, or just be considered eliminated once they had gotten out.

Holy crap, the snake situation depends on the tournie rules, however in NPPL if the run through was hit prior to eliminating the snake player the ref can make that call and wipe the snake clean. If the kill in the snake was legit then snake guy out. Then the run through gets hit he is out, if the run through got hit and then continues in to play on (defined in this situation as forward motion) it is a one for one penelty. If the run through is shot, continues to play on and eliminates a player it is a two for one penelty.
