I'm confused... how can you compare Kingman and KT to DYE and Proto? KT is built for a decidedly different market than the normal Kingman line. DYE and Proto each appeal to the same market, but have different price points (now separated much further than before).

SP and DLX is a whole different story... a guy made a gun design and was picked up by a company who helped him make and sell it, all in an effort to break into the "super high-end" market.

I dont much keep up with new electroflingers anymore, but Dye and Proto, Im using them because they are a fine example of a company promoting an underling company, it doesnt matter what 'fields' they are specifically built for.

Kingman already tried that company within a company approach, anyone remember the Raven series? That was designed as tournament ready. And Kingman tried to make a high end marker, remember the EM1?

Really? And the Primal just happened to be like the exact same thing as the EM1?

I guess they could've made the EM1 under Kingman, bought out Raven, and (for whatever reason) used the Raven name to make the EM1's successor.
