mq2
Ok so i see people talk about mq2s all the time and i kind of understand what it is, but ive never shot one so i have to ask what difference does an mq2 make? smoother pump stroke? more consistent? what?

It replaces the hammer and traditional valve with a solenoid controlled valve.
Less mass moving in the lower tube each time you shoot.
One of the big advantages people rave about is how quickly the ball actually comes out of the barrel after pulling the trigger versus a traditional set up where there's a slight delay for the hammer to move.

A MQ2 will run you $125 about plus you need a board and a frame to mount that board in.

If you want to know what it will feel like shooting (or pumping atleast) an MQ pump just take out your cocking rod and pump your marker. That's it. I personally dont like it. Just doesn't feel right.

i dont notice any delay in shot when shooting my mq gun. it does lighten down the pump stroke down considerability. also since the valve is electronic controlled it doesnt fart any more.

dyeforever-
He is saying it doesn't delay. He said sometimes an original set up delays, versus the mq2 which has no delay

If you have to ask, it's probably not worth it to you

I got to shoot an MQ gun and I didn't really notice the instantaneous shot that I'd heard about. It was super retarded smooth and light though!

I have contemplated MQ'ing my karni several times but I can't justify the $300 for the performance gain because I am so satisfied with the pump stroke on it. If I still had a blue hammer spring in it I would've gone in 6 months ago.

i only paid 300 because i bought everything new including the ccm frame , pump kit, a/t, UTB board with microswitch and cap, and the mq2. You can do it the cheaper of course but my tastes are just different.

Prolly a bit of a mis-read on that, next time compare side by side with another mech marker perhaps. The instantaneous firing is one of the first things that was noticed about the mQ when it came out and it is very noticeable.

i converted my Works to an mq2 pump for 130 and it was definitely worth it. Shooting it is beyond smooth and sweet. If you dont know much about em then I dont believe its the thing for you.
