n00b pump question
so i decided to join the world of pump... i picked up a phantom vsc, but i have a quick question.... when i pump the bolt only catches the sear about 1 out of 4 pumps... what could cause this??

is it aired up? The bolt will not catch the sear if not aired up.

yes, tried 5 different 12grams and 3.5

try taking the internals out and checking the parts. the previous owner might have installed things incorrectly. theres a diagram here:

and also make sure you oil it up. not too much but enough to make it smooth.

Keep the pump hand strong
|
Check the pump arm next time you pump it. If the stop and spring are too tight, they will keep the gun from cocking easily.

im thinking that may be it, ill check here in a bit....the nut is all the way back on the rod...giggidty

thats an awesome guide...I emailed mike, he said to try unscrewing the cupseal some. He said the powertube might not be out far enough
