360 QEV Leak

I have a leak right where the clear hose meets the QEV. It is a SP 360 QEV. I looked in the Leaks sticky but it doesn't cover 360s specifically and I wasn't sure if I should treat it like a normal QEV or not. How should I go about fixing this? Thanks

Sounds like the hose is just old and you need a new one. Nothing major. Cut off the old and put on some new

You can probably get an Ion hose kit at your local pb store for a couple bucks. Most online shops sell the hose also. Macrolineguy.com sells a kit (which includes all 3 hoses you have) for 3$. His shipping is very cheap also.

Ok I replaced the hose, that fixed that leak. However it now leaks from the QEV threads. I bottomed out the reg and slowly raised it, and can get to about 110 psi before it begins leaking. The oring looks fine and teflon tape doesn't seem to help.

Don't overdo the teflon tape, wrap it around 3 or 4 times at most. Also make sure you wrap it in the right direction so when you thread it in you're not making the tape come off. Then make sure you screw down the QEV nice and tight, don't over-tighten obviously, but it should be on there pretty good.

I have never had a problem with my 360 leaking. Maybe you just need a new o-ring. I could not get my clippard to seal tho. I would try a new o-ring.

The oring looks fine, but if the tape doesn't fix it I'll give that a go.

EDIT: Retaped it and it hold at 140 psi. Looks like it's good to go. Thanks guys.
