DIY - Protege/Vice LPR tester!
After some experimenting I realized the ram was the same width as a piece of macroline. Then I built this
Materials the way i made it. Kinda ghetto
-broken eclipse reg
-gauge plug
-macroline
-fitting
-gauge
-asa
Materials for non ghetto one. This way elminates the asa/reg combo.
-macroline
-gauge
-1/8 npt female coupler
-fitting
This is what the coupler looks like, its under $1 at ace hardware.
Just push the macroline in the ram, its a tight fit so it wont leak. And air up your marker and bam! LPR Tester
I just need a better gauge and im set.

So you just stuff the macro itself in the ram sleeve? And it seals? Wow.

Also to clear this up, it wont explode/fly off at you. Especially under 100psi.

Attach a manual solenoid or a release valve so you can purge the pressure and accurately adjust it while leaving the gauge installed. Looks good

All you would have to do is pull the trigger; it will vent the pressure from the rear of the ram sleeve and show the new pressure. Works with the tester bob sells and would work with this.

Ahh, I'm not too familiar with the exact design of the Protege. Wasn't sure if that was safe and would work. Good to know.

one of the big concerns over at IOG is that it will fly off.... I need to try this to see how it is to hold it in!
