This thread is better IMO though, because all you have to do is look at the first post, instead of wading through countless posts and you may not even find the site you're looking for. A mod/captain should take over first post if they can so it will be continuously updated. A lot of the time the OP of such threads will lose interest after a while and stop updating it.

The Mods and Captains of this forum have enough to deal with. They do not need the huge task of keeping up with this one as well. In fact, as little as people pay attention to the stickies in here, it would stand to reason that it would get more attention not being stickied. Just a thought.

This is true. I wish there was a way to do a dual poll in one thread so we could have one poll titled "Sites that you should buy from" and another titled "Sites you should stay away from" and have every site listed in the first post in both polls. It would make compiling the list of + and - so much easier and would get rid of the need for keeping the first post active.
