It was the regulator b/c after I replaced the reg it worked fine. I think that the torpedo regs that came with my ar-1 was just faulty. But I sold the gun so it really does not matter now. Thank you for your help.

it's prolly because you put the gauge and hpr hose on the opposite side so there is no control thus blowing your lpr hose i did it, then blew my hose, then realised because i blew my gauge too,
