Coming up from California
Hey guys,
Im going to be in Anchorage from Aug 9-22. Would it be worth it to bring my gear? I play both 7 and 5 man down in Cali. I was up here this past winter, and everyone said PB is dead during the winter. Just kinda looking to mess around.
If im gonna play, any one have a hook up on paint?

Only place to play in anchorage is 907
its FPO and its 60 a case but its custom bullet from DXS and its nice stuff
Its your choice whether or not you want to bring it, the competition probably won't be anything like there is in Sacramento but I'll bet you'll have lots of fun
Todd(the field owner) is a great guy and is very approachable and very fun to be around

$20 a day I believe. There is a tourney on the 22nd, too bad you leave that day.

prices are going to be the same, plus the long drive
I'm not sure about there field, never been to their outdoor
There's probaby going to be more experienced players down at 907

I actually like 907, and dont see $60 as all that bad, but maybe its because i am used to high paint prices living up here.

yeah 60 is high down here in cali. Most practice paint can be bought for 25-35 a case

from what all the paint dealers say, the paint isnt all that expensive, its the high shipping cost that gets us.

Well it's not practice paint. Shoots real straight, super thick fill, but shell is a little thicker. Which is a good thing from now on when the temperature starts to drop. I've had blenders before because super brittle paint, I would rather shoot the guy a couple extra times than not be able to hit him at all.
Depending on your shipping rates it can cost $6+ per case of just shipping.
