Replaced the rearmost o-ring inside the firing can, if it's green try using a clear one. Also put a decent amount of lube on that o-ring when you put it back together. Before you screw the can back on to the lift cap, put the bolt inside and slam it to the foreward position, you should see excess grease squirt out of the can (kind of like one of those playdough factory things). Sometimes if you get too much grease in there it can act as sort of a cushion and not allow the bolt to fully cycle.

i just got my brand new luxe and i have been struggling for like 2 days with fsd and randomly second shot drop off... (this was due to lubing everything like my shocker) but what i did is put a very very thin layer on the o-rings just enough that if holding the actual bolt while assembled with the firing can then slightly shaking it and it slid out of the can. Then i gassed up and money.

Dwell 14
fsd 14
timer 40s

Hope that helps.

After the excess lube squirts out like "playdough" should the can/bolt be disassembled again and the little holes in the can cleaned out?

if your bolt is spose to freely slide in and out of the can then there something super wrong with my lux, you cant even pull it out the can its so tight, you can flick it out it wont budge, unless you gas it up

should the bolt slide in and out of the can without you haveing to push it

It should slide easier than that.

Isn't that normal? Mine takes a fair bit to move back and forth.

You want the lowest amount of friction from the o-rings, yet still enough to create a solid seal.

Just de-air your gun when you leave the field and then when you come back on air it up again you shouldn't have the problem then.
The o-rings swell because of the air-pressure that is constantly behind them causing FSDO.

The best way to lower the friction on your bolt is to cycle it. Air you gun up and dry fire it. Lube it after a few thousand cycles. Dont swap orings unless you have a problem.

Actually he is right, if you leave the gun aired up for extended periods of time the chance of getting bolt stick greatly increases. It is always best when you are done playing to ALWAYS degas the gun.
