ya i even see some guys on all americans (pro) wear cargo pants. i think jason edwards and federov. some of my friends wear them simply because they are cheap, but i think im starting to see them as a trend.... *sigh*ol well.

The best way to get good pants is to wait till right after the new generation of pants come out, and then buy last years or 2 years ago model. This october I bought some great dye C7s for $50 new

i wear dickies quite often. only 15 bucks and they last quite a while and work well. so yea id rather do that than spend 90-100 for a pair of new pants.
ye i do that

I wasn't trying to compare them to paintball pants.

I know paintball pants would be much better, since that is what they are made for.

I was just wondering why people do it.

No gear is really agg by itself. Agg is about having style while being a good player. In near all cases you can't be agg and suck at paintball, contrary to popular belief.

and like said people do it because they are poor and would rather spend $30-$50 on paint to play and buy khakis for $3 at goodwill, or $15 at wal-mart.

Also while I am making a thread, I heard something "related" to khakis abotu Chigos. What are Chigos exactly?

1st off its Chino's not Chigo's
2nd Khaki's are waaaaaaaaay more expensive then paintball pants

the chigos he is referring to ARE NOT chinos. Chinos are a dress pant, chigos are Smart Parts paintball pant before modern paintball pants. When they say "khakis" they are not referring to high end pants like Polo khakis or something, they are simply referring to dickie-like pants which they consider khakis. These pants are in fact much much cheaper than paintball pants.

having a good pair of pants makes playing alot better, you want something that breaths good, and something that holds up to the harshest playing conditions. I put my pants to the test every time i play a scenario.

Buy a pair of khaki's a size larger than you normally wear, buy a $15 pair of baseball sliding shorts (maybe cup), and $5 Franklin knee pads. And there you have paintball ready lower-gear for under $50. The pants will last at least one whole season, and the pads will last many. Definitely a better option economically.

That being said, I love my C6's.

Dye Hybrids (Dye's cheap version) pants have been holding up since 05

Other than that, Dickies seem like a good way to stick it to the recession
