Buyer sends 3rd party money. 3rd party contacts seller, who then sends 3rd party merchandise. Then 3rd party sends money to seller and merchandise to buyer. Sometimes, the 3rd party will also inspect the merchandise to verify it matches up with its advertised condition. There is sometimes a small fee for the 3rd party.
