That is correct - assuming that the marker is set to PSP burst mode. The colour of the LED actually alters depending on what firing mode the board is set to.
If the LED is lit purple, then that means that the eyes are on, but there is no ball in the breech.
If there is a ball in the breech, then the LED will light up the following colour depending on the firing mode: -
solid red = semi auto
solid yellow = burst mode
solid green = auto response mode
solid blue = full auto
solid teal = accelerator mode
flashing red = rampage 1 mode - definable ramping
flashing yellow = rampage 2 mode - definable ramping
flashing green = PSP3 mode
flashing blue = NXL auto mode
flashing teal = Millennium mode
