Yah the left side got hammered. And if it weren't for Grazi trying to get people down to the far left it would have been breached even earlier. The players with me in the 5th did our best to hold the corner. We just didn't have the numbers to hold it after 1pm. The Allieds definitely did a good job of punching through there once we were weakened. Fun times nonetheless though!!!

You guys did a fantastic job out there! I wish I had something to give out but I didn't for ION> If you guys come to Battle of Britain I will have something for sure for those who follow my Italian contingent

I was in the first boat on the right. 3rd person out, i actually survived it somehow and crawled all the way up to the mounds without getting hit, first time luck i guess lol.

it might have been easier if 20+ germans didn't move out of the mounds to the tank on the tapeline before the game started. it was a little unexpected.

I hear that. I went through a full Pinokio (400 round nose on) and 10 pods in the first 40 minutes or less. Damn that was fun though!!!

That was my bad. I told them to hold the corner and they thought I meant all the way up there. Once realized though I walked up in a hail of paint and told them to move back inbounds. Only got hit 4 times though and it wasn't until I was walking back to the mounds.

Yeah those guys who moved up along the tank (all like 20 of them) really messed up the fist wave of people. Most of my friends went for the tank and actually got kinda hurt by the proximity. Not cool, everybody on the boat was told the Germans were not aloud to cross the forest line, and what's even more messed up is that if you watch videos of it there are refs standing around the area not doing a thing....lame.

I personally loved his "dodge" move he pulled every couple of seconds...PIMP. Yeah coming out of that boat had to be one of the most thrilling moments in paintball for me, and i've been playing for about 12-13 years!

yeah that was my group, we asked the refs and they said we just had to start behind those signs, and it was only supposed to be a couple of us, we didnt think all 20 of the people standing in that corner were gunna run there. sorry guys, it was kinda a miss understanding, along with a ref that didnt know

That was my boat, I was the A CO commander... the jackass in the kilt who kept spewing out the F word and screaming "kill babies" and all that nonsense.
Definitely didn't expect the fight we got out there. Usually Sword beach is relatively easy, most people walking from the German insertion just sort of stop somewhere in the middle wherever there's room (speaking from experience in '06) so the conventional wisdom was that sword would break first and with the least of a fight to the death. But, clearly I was wrong lol

Yeah, Sword definitely gave a bigger fight than was expected. I think the final breakthrough was made when all of the Juno insertions were constantly siphoning all the way right, to put the aggressive #s on Sword to punch through finally. I thought our two boats worked very well together.
