What wow, what type of tape does skrimish use? Well I use there 98s so I dont have that problem... it seems like alot to keep a paintball gun at 100%.

Use strong tape (good quality duct tape) strips to collect the residual glue away.
You stick a small patch of tape on top of the glue, then take it off while pulling to the side a bit - the stronger fresh glue on the duct tape should grab the glue on the plastic.
I've cleaned up some very ugly tape glue messes this way.

The tape was irritating to get off... I used soapy water and a brillo pad and that did the trick...

Forget all the solvents, just heat the tape up with a blowdryer while you slowly pull it off. I just took the tape off and it didnt leave a speck.

the blow dryer thing would work if we waited days to take it off, but the equipment gets cleaned and readied for the next weekend of play almost immediately here. Thanks for the future though!

Try a little WD-40 for the leftover adhesive. Worked like a charm and left the Pinokio with a nice sheen

Im not saying it wouldnt work right away...what I was saying was that the tape is long since off the hopper. I think we peeled it Sunday night. So while its prob a great idea its too late now. =)
We will def try it next time though....we are just trying to get off the left over residue now.

lighter fluid used in zippos has always worked fine for me without any damage to what I am using it on. Ive used it on my empire b, vlocity jr, and my pinokios.
