Question Hyper2 or hyper3 high pressure regs??

Howdy! I've got a random question for everyone! First off, what's the main difference between the hyper2 and hyper3 regs? Second, do they make high pressure or just low pressure models? And third, is low pressure ok in our cockers? I know they're more high pressure guns, but it seems people can squeeze some LP stuff on them, is a reg one of them?

The main difference is really the exterior. And as far as I know they only make one set of internals. I run both my cocker and my pump at somewhere under 300psi. So they work fine.

Supposedly the hyper 3 is a better regulator, but theyre the same style, so nothing changed operationally.

So then why is the hyper 2 worth like nothing now? I see offers for them under $20 all the time

And are these regs better than CPs? I read a few mixed reviews, but most are stating it's waaaay better! So if so much better, why so cheap? They say it's a sidewinder with a new exterior.

Cause theyre old and there are a lot of them around. But yes, they are better. Theyre some of the best regs on the market, in my experience. Not AKA good, but just a cut below.

IMO i would go with the hyper 2. You wont see much (if any) of a difference on a pump. I also think that the hyper 3 looks like crap on any other gun except the DM.
Oh, on a side note, i think that you would actually be looking for a hyper 4 instead of a hyper 3. I dont know if they still have it like that, but the hyper 4 is the same thing as the 3, its just that the hyper 4 can go on regular ASA's and the hyper 3 can only go on the smaller style dye ones. Just to let you know so you dont buy the wrong thing. (or maybe i was smoking crack when i thought i saw this, who knows)

Looks good on a Karnivor.

Hyper 2 is like an Ego 08 - a complete piece of **** now that the Ego 09 is out, not even worth selling for scrap. How will Dave Youngblood pay for his new mansion if you buy a Hyper 2!?

Yeah, anyone with spare, old run down Hyper 2's should send them to me (free of charge) for proper disposal.

No way, give them to ME!! I'll at least pay you $5 to cover shipping and PP fees

"Proper disposal" contains, but is not limited to: Me swapping out all my CP regs and selling them, selling leftovers for profit, keeping ones that look cool for future guns, throwing at kids riding around on bikes, ....
