coppied from the stickies:
Feedback is a record of how smoothly, or poorly, each transaction has went. Feedback is left when the deal is concluded (i.e. you received what you paid/traded for and so did the other guy). Feedback should be short, concise, and representative of the whole experience. If everything went well, a simple “Great [buyer, seller, or trader], a pleasure to deal with. Fast shipping. A+.” If the deal left something to be desired, don’t be afraid to say it. Just be sure to do it in a respectful manner. Before you leave negative feedback, contact the other person. Try to work things out between the two of you before escalating it to a feedback problem. They may wise up and make things right, so do not rush into leaving negative feedback. If they fix any problems you had in a timely manner, return the favor and leave them positive feedback. If they blow you off or refuse to resolve the dispute, leave negative feedback. Be specific – What did they do wrong? What did they do when you told them about it?
