Question Best rotor speed feed?

Alright well I've finally decided I want to get a speedfeed for my rotor and I've heard some things about the exalt, dye, and virtue ones. I'm looking for one that wont cause me to lose alot of paint and looks the best on the rotor. Please help. Thanks.

wont lose a lot of paint, or maybe any:
1. standard rotor crown, but difficult to fill.
2. exalt
3. ultrasoft crown
4. dye

looks:
1. exalt
2. crown, 2nd cause it doesnt sit flush =(
3. dye.

I have an Ultrasoft Crown on my Rotor. I love it. It doesn't spill any paint, and it is easy to fill. The adapter does not seem to be as flimsy as most people say it is; it seems pretty legit.

If it breaks, Virtue will repair it for free. If it begins to sag, all you have to do is either stick a pod through it and let it sit there for a couple of hours, or fill the hopper with paint and leave it upside down in your gearbag for about a night.

i like the exalt speedfeeds. The only reason i dont like the virtue is the profile. I actually shot my buddys Virtue speedfeed on his rotor twice yesterday. They are nice and keep paint in, just the fact it taller than the hopper bugs me. But its all preference, get what you like....hope it helps

thanks for the replies guys, im starting to lean more towards the virtue, but it just really bothers me that it sits that high over the rotor, is the dye one really that bad? also, ive seen the exalt one on youtube and people never really shake it that hard to see if paint comes out, so i guess the question is, do the exalt speedfeeds lose paint?

Dye ones I've heard break easily. Other times I've heard they've been used for months, with playing 2 times each week and they still hold up perfectly.

I would say stay away from the Dye speedfeed.

The Exalt speedfeed looks pretty legit; it looks like it won't loose any paint just like the Virtue Crown.

However, even though the Crown gives the Rotor that little bit of an extra bit added to the profile, I'm going to say that the Crown wins. An added feature to the Crown that the Exalt speedfeed does not have is that Virtue is soon releasing a rain cover for the Crown. All you have to do is slide the Crown off and replace it with the plastic Rain cover.

So if you ever think that you're going to be playing in the rain, my choice would be go with the Virtue Speedfeed.

Thanks for the help, I think I'm gonna go for the virtue mainly because the florida weather here is pretty rainy and often times I'm glad I have a solid lid, but I'm just gonna wait for virtue to release the upgrade before I buy anything. Hopefully it comes out soon.

if you are scare of losing paint then stick to the stock lid.. you dont need a speedfeed unless you are play fast temo games..

if you are playing rec there is no need for a speedfeed

edit: You will lose paint no matter which speedfeed you get

games are fast tempo, its just that some like the dye start sagging so bad that they dont even hold the paint in anymore.

better to go with a speedfeed, though. you never know when your lid will open up on you, at anytime, and lose half your hopper.
