How do these suckers work? Are they blowbacks or what?

Yes they are blowbacks. They shoot a .43 caliber paintball. Less pain, and supposedly more money in your pocket. They run off of 12 gram C02 cartridges, and 9 rnd. clips.

Gotcha. That's what I figured. And what are advantages to .43cal paint? I think it'd be less accurate due the the lower weight.
Who even makes .43cal paint anyway?

Kingman is the only that I know of that makes 'em. They are suppose to hurt less and cost less.

It's a bit more expensive than KT's paint, though, depending on where you buy from. Also, random little no-name paint used in 11mm airsoft guns.
