cleraning our toys
how do you guys clean your nitro and electric vehicles? I just take a spray bottle of water to mine but then again I'm fortunate enough to have fully sealed electronics. Is there a better way to get the fuel residue off?

i just take off the electronics. then spray the chassis with watter and then spray some wd-40 all over the car, then i let it sit in the sun for an hour..
it keeps everything nice and oiled.

I usually take a apart my whole car because its not that bad to do so. Hit it with the compressor to get all the loose stuff off it, then go to town with a wet rag. then some q-tips for the hard to reach spots where I don't feel like taking my whole suspension apart.

A stiff brush to get dried dirt off, air compressor to get the hard-to-get areas semi-clean.

pfff, just go buy some dynamite nitro force. It's safe on electronics so no worries, cleans bearings and motors out too. And while wd40 does oil the parts, it also makes dirt stick like a magnet to where ever it gets sprayed, not so bad if your into on-road touring, but it sucks if your into offroad.

Ive always cleaned my nitro's with water. Servo's are generally sealed all the time. Receivers are usually in boxes of their own. WD40 soak, water from the hose to get all the gunk off, then compressed air to day (never near any bearings because you can blow dirt into them..) Then WD40 after Im done. Once every couple months they get a complete tear down.
