Feedneck Replacement

I picked up a cheap ION-XE; I need some help in trying to figure out how to change the feedneck, want to take the stock feedneck off and replace with a Clamping Feedneck. Not a fan of the stock neck the O-Rings keep breaking and its too small for my Pinokio Hopper. Can anyone give me some tips on how to get the stock feedneck off? Thanks

Twist it off, may have to warm it up a little bit with a blowdryer.

get a grip wrench, heat it up with the blow dryer for even longer without melting the plastic

Had the same prob with my ion and spyder get some vice grips and be a man it works pretty much all the time. It doesn't matter if you scar up the stock as long as you got a replacement.

If you don't mind scratching your feedneck up, use a hex wrench, or a strap wrench if you have one and don't want scratches.
