I recently put Dye stickies on my Promaster, what a pain to slip on but did it. Now, I have seen some promasters that have cut off the wrap around part in the back of the grip, good idea or not. To change thebattery with it on will be a time consuming issue.

To change the battery, all you need to do is unscrew one side of the grips. Not all that time consuming.
