Need Help! Ion Problem :(

ok guys i have alot of problems with my ion in the past but been able to fix it or replace the part easily, but this time im stumped. When i air up my gun it fires one good shot then after that it does little poping noise and the balls roll out the barrel. as soon as i air it up again... it shoots the first shot great and then the same thing happens. Can someone please tell me whats wrong so i can fix or repare it thanks.

Look at your gauge on the gun are you still at 180 PSI after the first ball or has it depleted to something lower than 100psi? Also, maybe a fresh battery will do the trick (not enough current to energize the solenoid).

With the balls rolling out of the barrel sounds like there could be a problem with the detents aswell..

no theres nothing wrong with the detents it just shoots so softly that its enough force to get by the detents but just rolls out, it starts at like 200 psi and everytime i fire after that it drops like 50 psi, ffs i hate ions

EDIT: after the first shot the psi starts dropping, then everytime i shoot it boosts it lower

if you let the marker sit for a few minutes, does the pressure slowly creep back up?

If so, your reg needs to be adjusted. also, pull the body off and make sure you dont have any lines crimped

Not all 'new' batteries are good batteries. BAD batteries come in good packaging. Get a quality battery from a busy store.

Do you have a QEV? it may be clogged. Try swapping it with a regular banjo fitting to see if that cures it.

Boil some water on the stove. once it is boiling, drop the qev in for a minute or so. let it dry out and reinstall.

Well if you do everything they say and it still won't work try borrowing a buddies tank to see if it still happens because I kinda had this problem with mine as well, but it wasn't my gun it was my tank reg but I have a maxflow micro so it may not relate in any way.
