V-Force Grillz Lense: non-thermal?
I just found out, if the info I received is correct, that the Grillz lenses are NOT thermal lenses. They are "thermocured," whatever that is. The pro shop guy said that thermal lenses are 2-layer lenses, which the Grillz are not.
How do the grillz lenses hold up against true thermal lenses?

I've had my GrillS for a while now, never fogged for me, even in rain. They are dipped in anti-fog chemicals that keep moisture from sticking to the plastic. Profilers are the same way, never had trouble with them either until the lens started getting crapped up and the coat was getting scratched off.

They are thermal, but they just have a thermal coating system instead of the dual pane system.

Fixed.
If you're going to correct someone's spelling/grammar it's always good to do it correctly.

My various flex lens' haven't fogged on me in over 6 years
grills lens' fogged on me after a month of use
profiler lens' only fog on me during cold conditions
I have asthma & breath a lot I guess (what friends have told me) & I know a lot of people who's grills don't fog.

Guess we'll see how they work. I picked up the grillz to replace my proto switches, which worked well for about 2 days of play, then started fogging up at the beginning of every game.

the problem here is that masks with a thermal coating can have that coating wear off, where as masks with an actual thermal lens will never fog.

Only if the lens is not taken care of properly.
