Leak
So my quest is now leaking out of the back. I changed all the o-rings and lubed it all up, and it still leaks. The last thing I did to it was change the schrader valve in the LPR. Now that the weather is descent, it's playing season and I need a gun. Bad.
What should I do to this thing?

Out of the back where? Please circle the area with MS paint or photoshop... LPR has nothing to do with the "back" of the marker, so we can rule that out.

Most likely options seem to be the last o-ring on the bolt pin (which would cause a leak from around the outside edge of the bolt pin), the grub screw in the middle of the bolt pin (remove it, apply high strength threadlock and then screw it back in) and the screws under the bolt pin (again, remove, apply thread lock, and re-install).

A quick test to see if it's the last oring in the bolt pin is while the marker is aired up, re-tighten the bolt pin by SLIGHTLY unscrewing the bolt pin like 1/16 of a turn and then tighten it down again. When I'm in a hurry that almost always stops the leak, but is a sign i need to replace that last oring soon.

you would know if it was missing it goes where the allen key inserts and if it was missing it wouldnt be a leak so much as it would be emptying your tank use some soapy water to find exactly where the leak is and get back to us

i thread-locked the screws, rebuilt all the orings on the bolt, bolt pin, and both regs. yesterday i aired it up and the LPR was through the roof, like 300. just now i aired it up and it is leaking hard core from the center of the gun, like the bolt/bolt pin area. it's no longer coming out the back, but the barrel.
and i need a gun by next thursday. what now?

make sure your bolt isnt broken in half after the lpr being that high and now a leak down the barrel (what happens when bolts break).

Is the bolt pushed forward?
If so middle pin oring.
If not, middle bolt oring.

thanks to all. i finally fixed that damn leak. It worked fine for quite some time on low air, without the whole schrader valve problem. At the end when i put the other tank on and it started to make that noise again like the valve is all messed up, but i'm almost convinced it's the low air. we'll see...

Before you do anything else, I would turn your HPR pressure down - it should never need to be as high as 300psi. It is possible that the additional pressure is leading to some of the leaks.

the 300 thing i think was just a fluke. i turned down the HPR down right after that and now i've aired it up a few times since then and that has not happened.
