MSXL X-Ball June 6 - Proving Grounds
Ever wanted to play X-ball, the nation's most popular tournament format requiring athletic skill, communication and team work? The Mid-South X-ball League is introducing this format to teams aspiring to play with the big boys by putting together the same thing, but only open to teams that have never played a back-to-back match play tournament. With the CTS on the ropes, we're thinking about playing this event. We probably won't know until Saturday if the CTS event is even going to happen. So my question is:

What is the exact deadline for registering for this event?

I will extend it to Monday 6/1/09 Midnight. Be prepaired for the most paintball you've ever played in one day. It is very fast paced action. I can guarantee you the most paintball for the money anywhere.

Play the MSXL. Hands down the best event around (the one that we have played). Lots of paintball. Great competition. Excellent format. Great fields. Play several different locations and get to meet lots of new people, not just the same old faces from your local field.

CTS is all but dead unless someone steps in and takes ownership. I have been watching and it is painful.....come on over and play the MSXL, we would love to have you.

We played CTS last year and MSXL blows it out of the water. We played more paintball and spent less money doing it. The paint is far better than last year at CTS and cheaper, reffing was excellent, and APPA is used. Pretty much all of the complaints that people had about CTS don't exist. Tapper is quick to answer your questions and doesn't leave you in the dark about what is happening with the league. MSXL > CTS

We have the chicago layout up at PG if you guys want to come out and practice this Sunday.

just a quick question is anyone alowed to get on the field while games are going and video? not to like steal other teams strats but we want to make a mix of the event kinda like someone did for the bowling green indoor last year..would be great if we could get a video mix together..im a great editor and i could post it in the video section here on pbn so more people can see what the msxl is really like..if anyone knows plz let us kno

You need to get in touch with Tapper, they're limiting the field (Press Passes) for media types to cut down on the number of people running around and possible coaches.

We have had limited request this event so we will allow event photographers and filmers inside the netting but not on the actual playing field, only in the out of bounds area.
