Help with Gremade Launcher

I'm going to build a revolving grenade launcher and i have most of it planned but how can i get the chambers to revolve when i shoot? It will be bolt action, not operated by a trigger, and spring firing. Also how can i get it to stop at each chamber and not keep going. i was thinking about a notch system.

Investigate how a revolver pistol works. You could probably duplicate the action.

A spring will rotate it. It only has to go around ONE revolution. Wind it back up as you reload.

The trick is indexing it. Got that solved for you.

No silly, A GREMADE a paintball grenade filled with GatorAide.

You loading and extracting Cartridges or naked nerfs or just recocking the spring.

You going to use a spring to propel it? I tried a glorified slingshot Nerf Launcher.

Part of the Ultimate Anti Tank build contest. Major criteria was ANYBODY could build it on their kitchen table for under $30. So everyone could have one...

Started off with surgical tubing. No range.

I tried making a compound bow launcher that used springs and pulleys instead of a bow. But something that I would have to recock with my feet and back like a 100 pound pull crossbow.

Couldn't make it work with a PVC barrel. Not strong enough... Nerfs don't make great arrows under 50 g acceleration pushed by a string. Started getting too complicated to build. Gave up.

Fastlearner came up with a 12 gram 230 fps Pocket Rocket that met the criteria. Used a pipe union for a burst disk and regulated the velocity by the number of layers of aluminum foil he put in the union... Just set off the 12 gram adaptor and let it build pressure while aiming. Boom! Just a plumbing project with a 12 gram adaptor.

You could possibly use your bolt action for indexing? Operates the extension and retraction of some indexing pins.
