Gary Bowe, Jon Vickers (me), Rusty Fox, Chris Spann, and Bubba (don't remember his real name) Hell I don't know if I ever knew his real name.

I remember that tourny. Thats the tourny where HV and point blank were playing the final game on the town field and point blank started shooting their own players thinking they were HV guys, so funny. That was also the tourny the Gary (from the picture) threw a new revy at Nate Greenman and told him the bass eagle distroyed the Revy (this was after it got a hole shot in it)

As for Dirt. Dirt started with a combo of players from High Voltage, Badmood, R.G.P, and I don't remeber where CA and Robinson came from (PBA somewhere)

I was talking to Dirty Ed and he told me about this Arkansas Paintball History Thread...
Below are a few photos and a little bit of history about my old team Dangerous Toys!

This photo of Malcolm, Shawn & Nate is from the
1998 NAAPSA National Championships, If I remember
right we placed either 2nd or 3rd in the 3-man division.

This shot is from the 1998 ZAP International Amateur Open
where Dangerous Toys was the 3-Man division National Champions...

Here is another photo from ZAP, this time 1999 International
AM Open where we made the finals in both the 3 and 5-man
divisions and placed 7th overall in the 5-man and 8th in the 3-Man.

Team photo following the final tournament of the first annual APC
Arkansas State Championship Series...
Dangerous Toys - 1997 Arkansas State Champions!

1998 APC Arkansas State Champions!

These are just a few snapshots of the team and little bit of our History...

I will follow with a few more shots in other posts on this thread.
For those who think Arkansas has no Paintball history...... This might help you realize differently!

Enjoy!

These 2 photos should be switched to match the proper description
(yes i know the bottom picture says 1998 in the bottom corner but the first seasons APC final was at sandridge and the second year was at black rain)

Jon, Dave, Ed, Pineapple and more...good to see you guys contributing. I have some pictures that Duke Trimble asked me to scan but the scanner has crapped out. I'll get them up soon!

Does anyone remember "The Invasion" field down 65 toward Pine Bluff? That place was the bomb!! A big sandpit with a 100 foot hill in the center. I bought some of their Stingray rentals when they shut down. All the barrels were sandblasted inside from the constant exposure to sand. I remember a five man there where one player hung back and shot his Palmer Typhoon nearly straight up, raining paint down on the opponents that made it to the top of the hill. Very cool!

Ed...

I am getting old... You are right about the first Championship being at Sandridge in 98... I think that other photo is actually from the 98 APC event held at Blackrain(?) earlier that same year... I was thinking that we also won the 99 event, but were runner-up in 2000... It has been a few years, so forgive my poor memory!!! Feel free to keep me on track as needed!

Ed, what markers was Duke using at that field in Russelville? I started there way back in the day, but can't remember what we shot. God I'm getting old.
