2nd part

I bought a nova it seams to work but the original reg has been gutted and I’m adjusting off the hpr reg I have on it (max flow) now when I get on the trigger the pressure drops way down. Any way to fix this or any idea how to fix it?

Cant answer first part, but for the second part, im assuming you mean when you start shooting it drops off. If that is the case, take apart the reg per the manual for it, and clean it all out completely and relube it.

The reg has been gutted meaning it does not have the brass seat pin popit or spring (the little spring) as far as I can figure he was adjusting fps through the front reg. i'm just going to have to get creative with it i guess but thanks for the help

Sounds like a flow problem. I've got a max flow on one of mine and it works fine.
Check for dirt in fittings etc. What hose are you using? Micro line wont flow enough you need macro. Your pressure should be 90 to100 psi.

i'm going to try another reg when i get one BSM is the nova that you speak of got all the internals to the stock reg ? i was thinking that the max flow i am using is in rough shape so you may be right. i'm using the big lines



part two if any of you just happen to take your reg all the way down measure that lil popet (not the main popet) and pm me please i think i figured out how to rebuild the reg with parts on hand. thanks for the help

If I remember right i just pulled the springs and poppets. Rebuild the max flow and that should solve your problem.
