I've been doing some homebrewing with some friends. My favorite has got to be an Oktoberfest that we made. Kegging is definitely the way to go, much easier.

Has anyone tried making applewine? Its very easy, and pretty potent.

I haven't tried the full mash brewing yet. That looks a bit more complicated than what I'm content with doing right now. Maybe I'll get into it when we buy a bigger house and I can set up an area just for brewing.

Go on www.homebrewtalk.com and search for EdWort's Apfelwein. It is phenominal, I have atleast 1 keg of this on tap at all times, he doesn't prime or carbonate his, but I do it to mine, I could drink the **** for breakfast.

Ehh its not horribly complicated but it does take a lot of time. My advice to you is build a brewstand, saves space, and makes things easier. Once I built my brewstand, I've basically been brewing every weekend for a while now.

no, hard cider indicates that you start with apple cider, not apple juice. Theres a difference in the outcome.

I'm just finishing up a batch of wheat beer now, but I was wondering if anyone here has their own recipes.

I think it would be more fun for me, now, to buy all my ingredients separately so that I could call the beer my own. Anyone able to help me out?
