Ho Chi Minh's government
What were some problems of his government, I can't seem to find anything too awful, if somebody could give me some facts or send me to a website with some flaws of his system for example low standard of living or something of this nature, thanks for any help

There's probably not a lot wrong, maybe more government control/ socialist control but some people are for that. It's not like we went in because we wanted to free the Vietnamese from an oppressive government, we went in because supposedly they attacked one of our ships or something in the Gulf of Tonkin.

It was a communist government supported by the Soviets. Period.

Then read through the links I posted ABOUT Ho Chi Minh! Biographies are usually a good place to start to learn about him and his policies.

I think that a lot of the reason why we can't find too many bad things about Minh is that... well... not a lot leaked out of China during that time. Most of it was kept very well controlled and hush-hush.

It was a socialist/communist government. Karl Marx believed that the proletariat (The average working class person) were being exploited by the bourgeois (Capitalists who took advantage of the proletariat) and that they would overthrow the "evil" capitalists. After they were gone, there would be a classless society where everyone was treated equally. This proved wrong in ALL communist societies. It always ended out where the rich and powerful (The politicians) were at the top and the average citizen was at the bottom.
In other words- The problem was that even though the leaders wanted everyone to be equal, they still had to have power, thus corrupting their views.

But they yielded that power in order to protect the people from the dreaded influences of the evils of capitalism and democracy. The enemies of the proletariat are everywhere.
